Employee Spotlight: Kelly Quattlebaum

Communication is key. That is why CDE Services, Inc. has selected experienced communication executive Kelly Quattlebaum to join and build the marketing and communication team.

Kelly joined CDE at the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, just two days before 70% of the workforce transitioned to working remotely. She quickly adapted to the new environment and effectively dove right in, launching several campaigns that tied to COVID-19 and the CARES stimulus.

Prior to joining CDE as the senior director of marketing and communication, Kelly held various senior-level marketing positions at software companies ranging from start-ups to publicly traded companies. During that time, she gained extensive experience in public relations, communication, digital marketing, social media management, branding and product marketing. Throughout her 17-year career she has traveled to 17 countries, spoken at more than 60 conferences and conducted business in four different languages. Her passion for the art of communication has led her to study body language and become fluent in four languages: English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and French.

As a respected social media trainer and consultant, Kelly has had the pleasure of serving as a Women in Technology Executive Readiness program executive coach to several leading female technology executives for Atlanta-based enterprises. She was also invited by the Department of State to host a delegation from South Africa on the topic of social media.

Kelly’s knowledge of communication and marketing have enabled her to employ a connected approach to marcoms that focuses on a deep understanding of customers and prospects and their needs. She graduated summa cum laude from Kennesaw State University with a degree in communication and a concentration in computer science.

She and her husband, Frank, enjoy spending time together through a wide range of activities such as golf, billiards, racquetball, biking, hiking and gardening.  Kelly also enjoys singing, songwriting and playing guitar.
