Employee Spotlight: Stephanie Preuss

CDE’s partnerships depend on our ability to create truly customized solutions for each company’s unique needs.  A key part of our success in delivering these solutions is having the right people on board that can be flexible while also paying close attention to detail. One of the newest additions to the team was brought onboard to work directly with our partners and do just that.  Her name is Stephanie Preuss, and she is our new Director of Partner Services.

Stephanie began her career in the payments industry in 2008 working on the operations team of an ISO with over 30,000 merchants in Aiken, South Carolina.  Stephanie quickly advanced to become the manager of the underwriting team, where she worked to ensure that merchants qualified for the necessary lines of credit to secure their merchant accounts.  After 6 years, Stephanie was relocated to Atlanta, GA to lead several large development initiatives as a Project Manager.

As a Project Manager, Stephanie had the opportunity to work with multiple departments throughout the large organization to coordinate efforts in launching technology such as kiosk devices, and mobile payments apps.  She says she loved starting on new projects and being able to be hands on throughout the entire process until the product was completed and on the market.

After a brief time at another technology company, managing development teams in the creation of self-checkout software, tokenization software, contactless payment technology, and more, Stephanie joined the CDE team in September 2018.

Stephanie says that so far, she’s really enjoying the culture and people of CDE.  She’s excited to jump in, and loves having the opportunity to see great solutions come to fruition.  Stephanie shared that she’s a fan of the “small company feel” and is an employee that doesn’t mind rolling up her sleeves to make sure something gets done right.  Outside of CDE, Stephanie is a wife and mother to her daughter and two adorable dogs.

We’re definitely glad to have Stephanie on board as we continue to build and implement solutions that help our partners evolve, and more importantly, grow as the industry continues to change.
